There’s no doubt that No Neon‘s debut year was a huge success. A series of events were scattered throughout 2015, each bringing in a full house of enthusiastic supporters – a crowd ready and willing to indulge in something off the beaten track.
Toronto’s Hunter Siegel, in partnership with Embrace, created the No Neon brand as home for his #DarkPLUR. These parties are meant to be an alternative to the typical, mainstream EDM events, giving his hometown a chance to experience new sounds from local, international, and upcoming talent:
“In 2014, you really saw a big change and that kind of gave a way for people like me and all the other people out there trying to do different stuff to really have a chance to actually do it for more people, and I think that’s good! I’m trying to be the place for all the guys you’ve been waiting for…” – Hunter Siegel, No Neon launch Recap
On January 9th, No Neon returns to The Hoxton to celebrate its one year anniversary. At previous shows, Siegel invited artists such as Rezz, Chocolate Puma, Ghastly, Mr. Belt & Wezol, and Hannah Wants to perform with him. However, for this milestone event, Siegel will be the only headliner of the night and is playing a special open-to-close set.
When this event was first announced, Siegel opened up a special guestlist to the members of Toronto Rave Community. He gave away 50 free admissions to the show as a thank you for making the parties a success. If you weren’t one of the lucky 50, tickets are available for purchase here for the incredibly low price of $15. Join the official Facebook event page to stay up-to-date on the latest news.
