Heard throughout the festival circuit this past season, KSHMR and ZAXX‘s much anticipated collaboration Deeper has arrived courtesy of Musical Freedom Records. The anthemic original’s energizing build-up flourishes into an unexpected drop with zapping synths and low bass kicks. The collaboration was formed from an idea that came from Tiësto while he and KSHMR were working on their release Secrets. This inspired KSHMR so much he then reached out to ZAXX and the result was Deeper.
Mysterious producer KSHMR exploded into the scene with his first release, Megalodon in 2014. Orchestral, hard-hitting, extravagant – his tracks’ larger-than-life sound is fitting for music festivals and clubs across the world. Since then, his Beatport releases Burn, Secrets, Karate, Memories, Heaven, Strong and Bazaar have all peaked at #1 overall and quickly garnered him a rapidly growing fan base. In 2015, KSHMR was awarded the highest new entry in DJ Mag’s top 100 at #23.
At only 18, ZAXX is taking the world of dance music by storm. Hitting major cities around the country, the young producer has played at New York’s Webster Hall, the Main Stage at Electric Zoo in NYC, and Hakkasan and Wet Republic in Las Vegas, alongside the legendary Tiësto. Honing his craft in his bedroom in Staten Island, ZAXX has been creating music since he was 14, with his first college tour under his belt only 2 years later.
